As Gift Buyer, I think I have one of the best jobs at Tates. Who doesn’t love buying gifts for a loved one and Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to treat the special lady in your life, whether that be your Mum, Nan, Auntie or close friend?

Another very popular range is Bomb Cosmetics; you can’t help but be drawn in by their scent as you walk past the displays. They make a great gift and as well as the individual pieces (each of which is handmade), we also have a range of gift boxes priced at £14.99 – perfect for any gift-givers who don’t enjoy gift wrapping as they’re already beautifully wrapped!
Heathcote & Ivory
Staying on the ‘smellies’ theme, Heathcote & Ivory also make a great gift. I love working with this company, they are a best-seller at Tates, and all of their products are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, as they should be. Spend £25 or more (between the 9th and 27th of March, 2022) on Heathcote and Ivory and you’ll receive an extra complimentary gift worth £15!
Houseplants
Houseplants make a great alternative to flowers as they keep giving. There are also many health benefits to keeping houseplants so I think they make a really nice gift for someone you care about. Wax Burners and Diffusers
Another very popular gift are these lovely Aroma Electric Wax Melt Burners and Ultrasonic Diffusers. The burners are electric so there is no need for tealights, while the Ultrasonic Diffusers have a small plate in them which vibrates releasing the scent from the oils; both have a great range of scents to choose from. Prices start at £19.99 for the Wax Melt Burners and £29.99 for the Diffusers.
Afternoon Tea for Two Voucher
My final suggestion for a wonderful gift is an Afternoon Tea for Two voucher – available instore or online, Tates Tea for Two includes an assortment of freshly made sandwiches, our famous home-made scones, and a delicious selection of cakes, plus a pot of tea for two at your own reserved table.
