Paradise Park Garden Centre, based in Newhaven, opened its doors to the public in 1989. At Paradise Park, you will discover a large plant area and a knowledgeable team of friendly staff who are able to help you find everything you need for your home and garden.
Alongside the large garden centre, you will find some of the finest gardens in Sussex, with several small lakes, waterfalls, fountains and plant houses.

Car parking at Paradise Park for the disabled and coach set-down is on flat tarmac close to the main entrance.
Wheelchairs are available on request, subject to availability. Floor areas are flat and level. Where stock is displayed at height, staff are available to assist.
The Restaurant at Paradise Park can cater to Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free and other dietary requirements.

The Coffee Shop at Paradise Park offers a varied menu with a focus on using fresh produce, cooked to order. Our breakfasts cater to every taste with a wide selection of traditional dishes.
Our baristas serve a specialist range of quality coffees and delicious frappes and smoothies which are hard to resist. Relax on the outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy views of the gardens and have a ride on our miniature railway

Heritage Trail & Gardens
Serene and Charming Gardens.
The charming gardens are Newhaven’s hidden secret with several small lakes, waterfalls and fountains that make one of the finest water gardens in Sussex.
The gardens are a mixture of formal and informal in a wide variety of styles with ponds that contain thousands of fish that you can feed during spring and summer.
Pause for reflection at numerous seating points or maybe take a break at the Coffee Shop before resuming your tour.
The Sussex History Trail meanders through the gardens with hand-crafted models of Sussex landmarks that have survived, often for hundreds of years, to remind us of our exciting past.
Planet Earth Museum
A History of Our Earth
Follow the extraordinary life story of planet Earth, from its earliest beginnings to the present day. The exhibition is one of the finest of its type in the country and is home to a unique collection of fossils, minerals and crystals up to 500 million years old.
Discover how planet Earth has evolved from the oldest rocks at its formation, over 4 billion years ago, to the youngest ones that are still forming today. Geological change has been constantly occurring on Earth and the process of plate tectonics has played a major role in the shaping of Earth’s continents and oceans.
The Playzone
Fun for Kids and Families
Enjoy the indoor play area, crammed with brightly coloured tubes, balls, tunnels and slides. There is also a separate soft play area for under five years. You can enjoy the indoor play whatever the weather! Don’t forget to ask about our party packages.
A miniature railway carries passengers around the gardens. The British made locomotive has been operating since 1989 and has delighted many thousands of passengers of all ages. A round of nine hole crazy golf course offers a fun challenge for all the family. Other amusements are available for you to enjoy.
There are regular competitions and events in the school holidays to keep children entertained. Don’t miss Santa’s Winter Wonderland this Christmas!
