The Second Burgess Hill Brownies paid the South Downs Heritage Centre a visit on Tuesday. The girls potted a sunflower seed with Clive from The Budding Foundation and learned how to care for it at home, and enjoyed some craft activities too. Activities included making your own flower crowns, coffee filter flowers, paper plate fishes and Father's Day cards. “We’ve had such a lovely time this afternoon, the girls really loved all the activities,” said Lorna Derham, one of the Brownie group leaders, “We wish we could come every week!”
