Making a pond is the most important thing you can do to support birds, insects and small mammals in your garden. Even a small pond will be buzzing with life after just a couple of weeks.
Learn the simple, but essential steps to positioning, planning and planting your new pond.
In this illustrated talk and workshop, Juliet will explain how to choose the right place for your pond. How to design it correctly and then implement your design. We will also cover how to choose, source and plant a good selection of plants, that will look great and also support the wildlife in your garden.
By the end of the day you will have:
• Decided where to put your pond in your garden
• Designed the outline of your pond
• Know what materials you need, where to get them and how to implement your pond
• Understand the different types of pond plants and how to choose a good selection
