Euonymus japonicus, more commonly known as Japanese Spindle is a small, evergreen shrub with darker green leaves margined with lime-green.
The oval shaped leaves glow beautifully in the lower light levels of spring and autumn. Leaf colour is best in full sun but will need to be kept more moist. Tolerant to pruning.
Provides interest throughout the year with its evergreen foliage. Can be planted in any location, making this shrub a great all rounder, great for slopes, banks, cottage or informal schemes, also makes a great container plant or if planted close together can create a thick, evergreen hedge.
