A dessert apple similar to a Cox but with better disease resistance. It is more yellow in colour than a Cox with a crisp texture and sweet but sharp flavour. Self-fertile but can be used as a pollination partner within group 3. Crops well and can be picked from mid-September. Store in a fridge and use within a month. Good for juicing. Self-fertile. M27 Rootstock is dwarf growing to 2m. Requires staking. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
