Ilex aquifolium 'Pyramidalis' 3 Litres
This variety of holly is a slow-growing, evergreen shrub with a dense, pyramidal habit, reaching a height and spread of up to 6m (20ft) over a period of many years. Its glossy, dark green leaves are spiny and serrated, and it produces small white flowers in spring followed by red berries in autumn, which are attractive to birds. It prefers a well-drained soil and can tolerate full sun or partial shade. It can tolerate temperatures as low as -20°C to -15°C. It is self fertile and holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
