Crataegus laevigata 'Plena' 12 Litres
Small, shrubby, deciduous tree forms a spreading canopy of shallowly lobed rich green leaves. White flowers can completely cover the tree in spring, they are double and develop a faint pink flush just before they fall. 'Plena' is sterile and therefore produces no fruit, and as with most forms of the species, the branches are protected by short thorns. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
