Thyme 'Doone Valley' 9cm
Thyme Doone Valley is a low-growing, compact evergreen herb that forms a dense mat of fragrant foliage. The leaves are small, rounded, and have a slightly glossy, golden green hue. During the summer months, small pink-purple flowers appear, attracting bees and other pollinators to the area.
This variety of thyme is well-suited for growing in pots, rockeries, or as a ground cover in garden borders. It thrives in well-drained, slightly alkaline soil and prefers a sunny location. Thyme Doone Valley can also be used in cooking and adds a lovely flavour to meats, vegetables, and soups.
