Ficus carica 'Brown Turkey', also known as Brown Turkey fig, is a deciduous fruit tree that is widely cultivated for its sweet and juicy figs. It is a hardy tree that can grow up to 5-6 metres in height and spread, although it can be kept smaller with regular pruning. The leaves are large and deeply lobed, with a rough texture and a bright green colour.

Brown Turkey figs are large and pear-shaped with a purplish-brown skin when ripe and pink flesh. They are highly prized for their sweet flavour and are commonly eaten fresh or dried, as well as used in jams and other desserts. The tree requires full sun and well-draining soil, and it is relatively drought-tolerant once established. If grown in a pot it needs to be kept moist to ensure a tasty crop.
