Buckler Fern (evergreen) 1 Litre
Dryopteris atrata, commonly known as evergreen buckler fern, is a species of fern native to Europe and Western Asia. It is an evergreen fern, which means it retains its foliage throughout the year. The fronds of the plant grow in a circular shape and have a leathery texture. The fronds are dark green in colour and can reach a length of up to 70cm.
Evergreen buckler fern is a hardy plant that can grow in a variety of soil types, but it prefers moist, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. It is commonly used in shaded borders or woodland gardens, and also makes an excellent groundcover plant.
