Sensor Controller
This electronic timer with daylight sensor automatically waters your garden.
Watering at sunrise or sunset is the best time to minimise water evaporation and leaf scorch. For your convenience, Hozelock’s Sensor Controller includes a daylight sensor that automatically adjusts your watering schedule to start at sunrise and sunset. No programming is required, it will automatically change the start times to coincide with sunrise and sunset as the seasons change.
You can select from watering durations of 2, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes and it is easy to adjust in response to changing weather conditions.
The ‘Water Now’ button provides the option to water outside of the automatic schedule. Simply press the button to select watering for 10, 30 or 60 minutes. Press again to cancel the operation for shorter periods.
The Sensor Controller is very versatile and can be used with garden sprinklers (up to 10 Bar), low pressure micro irrigation systems (1.5 Bar) or water butts (0.1 Bar).
It is easy to install, simply screw straight onto a standard garden tap with one of the included adaptors (21mm, 26.5mm or 33.3mm) and insert 2 x AA batteries (not supplied). The unit is battery operated so no electric wiring needed.
