Encarsia formosa is a tiny parasitoid wasp which hunts and kills whitefly larvae and pupae. These beneficial insects fly around searching for the whitefly which are typically found hidden on the underside of leaves on a wide range of garden flowering, fruit and vegetable plants.
Incredibly easy to apply, the Encarsia are on cards. Simply distribute the cards within the plant canopies or foliage. Use 1 card per 10m2. Best used in enclosed places such as polytunnels and greenhouses, but can also be used on outdoor brassicas such as cabbage, kale, broccoli and cauliflower.
