Heterorhabditis bacteriophora are microscopic nematodes/worms that prey on chafer grubs and vine weevil larvae. They are suitable for organic growing and are safe for using where children or pets play.
Chafer grubs are the larvae of turf beetles such as the garden chafer. They can devastate lawns and grass areas by feeding on the roots. Predators of the larvae such as badgers and crows can cause further damage by pulling up the weakend grass or digging the lawn to find and eat the grubs.
Simply mix with water and apply to the grass or lawn. Use a coarse rose, keep the soil moist for the next two weeks.
