Processed from natural, sustainably produced pine bark, these pine chips are a rich mid-brown in colour and easy to lay. Ideal for creating low maintenance beds and borders, this chipped bark suppresses weed growth reducing the time spent on weeding and the need for chemical weed-killing. Conserves water for longer minimising drought stress and the need for additional watering in dry conditions. Protects plant roots by providing thermal insulation and preventing over-heating during extreme weather conditions. The soil's organic content will be improved over time as the chips decompose into the soil.
