Radish Cherry Belle is a popular and easy-to-grow variety of radish. It is a fast-maturing radish that produces bright red, round roots with a crisp, white flesh that has a mild, slightly peppery flavour.
Cherry Belle radishes can be planted in the spring or autumn and prefer well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter. They are a cool-season crop and do best when temperatures are between 10'C and 18'C. With their rapid growth, they can be planted around or near other vegetable seedlings as they will be harvested before the other vegetables have grown much. This way, they help save space for other crops, making them a practical choice for gardeners with limited space.
Plant 5cm apart and keep the soil moist. The radishes are ready to harvest when they reach about 1 inch in diameter, although they can be left in the ground longer for larger radishes.
