This exciting range of chili peppers range form the mild(ish) to the seriously hot, including some of the hottest chilies in the world. How hot can you handle? Scoville Heat Rating: 1,200,000
The Trinidad Scorpion Chilli Pepper is a fiery hot pepper that originated in Trinidad and Tobago. It is among the hottest peppers in the world, with a Scoville heat rating of over 1.4 million units. The plants are large, growing to 70cm to 1m tall and the red peppers have a distinctive, bumpy appearance including some that look like a scorpion tail. They are a popular choice for adding heat to spicy dishes, sauces, and marinades. However, due to their extreme heat, they should be used with caution, and only small amounts are needed to add a significant kick of heat to any dish. When chopping these fruits, we strongly recommend wearing gloves and washing your hands and utensils thoroughly afterwards.
