Chilli Pepper 'Inferno' is a Hungarian Hot Wax hybrid that may not be as fiery as its name suggests. Despite this, it is still a reliable early producer with generous yields. These compact plants typically grow to a height of around 50 cm and produce peppers that measure 18-20 cm in length and 3-4 cm in diameter. The fruit matures from green to red and has a distinct flavour that works well in a variety of dishes. This variety can be harvested about 60-65 days after repotting, and has a moderate heat rating of 2500~4000 Scoville Units. A good variety for pickling.
