Asparagus officinalis 'Pacific Purple' 3 Litres
Asparagus Pacific Purple is a prolific producer of tender and sweet, stringless spears that stand out for their striking purple colour. When cooked, the spears may lose some of their hue, so it is recommended to steam or consume them raw to fully enjoy their unique flavour. Additionally, if the spears are earthed up while growing, this variety has the ability to produce white stems. Pacific Purple is best planted 38cm apart in rows 30cm apart and it typically yields crops from April to June.
