Ribes King Edward Vii 3 Litres
3 FOR £30
Ribes sanguineum 'Pulborough Scarlet' is an ornamental currant. This upright, medium-sized shrub to 2m is a little more compact than the variety 'Pulborough Scarlet'. It bears deep crimson flowers in drooping racemes in spring, followed by blue-black berries in summer. Pollinators love it.
It is a low maintenance deciduous shrub that is easy to grow, preferring fertile soil and a sunny position. Use it in a mixed border or as a lovely informal hedge. Prune after flowering in early summer.
