Primula veris 1 Litres
3 FOR £12
Primula veris, commonly known as the cowslip, is a herbaceous perennial plant native to the UK. Cowslips grow up to 30cm in height and produces clusters of nodding, bell-shaped flowers that bloom in spring. The flowers are typically a pale yellow colour and are sweetly scented, attracting bees and other pollinators. The leaves are dark green and slightly wrinkled, forming a rosette at the base of the plant.
Cowslip prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade, although it can also tolerate full sun in cooler climates. It is a great addition to any cottage garden, rock garden, or wildflower meadow, and pairs well with other early spring-blooming plants like bluebells and wood anemones.
