Parthenocissus quinquefolia 3 Litres
2 FOR £30
Parthenocissus quinquefolia, more commonly known as Virginia creeper is a vigorous, deciduous climber with lobed or palmate dark green leaves which turn a spectacular bright red and orange in autumn. Inconspicuous green flowers are sometimes followed by attractive blue or black berries.
A rampant climber, typically used to clothe walls and fences and walls of large houses without additional support. In the first couple of years offer support such as canes or a small trellis until it produces either tendrils or disk-like suckers and it becomes self-clinging.
Extremely easy to grow, prefers moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Keep its growth in check by pruning annually in autumn.
