Management Accountant - Head Office, Newhaven
Job Description: We are looking for a Management Accountant who will report into the Group Accounts Manager at our Head Office in Newhaven.
This is a varied and “hands on” role; preparing monthly management accounts, producing monthly sales figures, post and reconcile prepayments and accruals. Assisting with preparation of year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns and compile figures for ONS returns.
You will also be required to provide cover for sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash & banking and Payroll.
Previous Experience: Microsoft Windows, Word, email and excellent Excel skills. 3 years Management accounting (Preferred) and is either AAT qualified or is studying towards.
Personal skills/qualities desired: High level of numeracy, high level of attention for accurate inputting, ability to prioritise workload, excellent time management, proactive, able to work on own and in a team environment, is patient, persistent and resilient.
Duration: Full time Monday to Friday

Maintenance Team Member - Old Barn Garden Centre
Job Description: We are looking for someone to join our maintenance team working full time, Monday to Friday.
This role includes:
Carrying out all day to day maintenance duties to a high standard.
Liaising with your line manager to ensure the prompt and efficient completion of maintenance works.
Working with your line manager to ensure larger maintenance jobs are completed in liaison with Group maintenance team.
Carrying out daily, weekly, monthly checks as scheduled. Ensuring you notify your line manager of any issues that may arise.
Previous Experience: Basic maintenance skills are essential for this role.

Previous Experience: You need to be enthusiastic about plant and garden care and have the confidence to interact with both colleagues and customers. English and maths GCSEs at grade D/3 or above are desirable.
