Phillyrea is a compact evergreen shrub to 3m with narrow dark green leaves and small clusters of fragrant white flowers. Tolerant of coastal conditions.

Buxus sempervirens known as Common Box is a hardy evergreen low maintenance shrub with small glossy dark green leaves that responds well to trimming. Often used as hedging or for topiary. Common problems in the south of the UK are box moth caterpillars and box blight.

Phillyrea is a compact evergreen shrub with narrow, dark green leaves and small clusters of fragrant white flowers in late spring and early summer.

A very useful hedging shrub, lends itself particularly to topiary as it produces a lovely texture when clipped.

With its salt tolerant foliage, Phillyrea is a perfect shrub for coastal locations. Great for cottage and informal gardens, sheltered city gardens and flower beds and borders.

This unique holly is covered with small, spiny, glossy leaves featuring coppery-red serrated edges. Compact and bushy, winter foliage is followed in spring by dainty white flowers (though being male, it won't produce any berries).

This holly brings year-round interest, adding structure, colour and texture to your garden. Planted as a hedge, its spiny leaves will deter any unwanted visitors!

Keep well watered, particularly during warm weather and feed with a general purpose fertiliser from mid-spring to late summer. Trim the crown to keep a neat outline in late summer.

Prunus Novita is a dense evergreen shrub to 5m with large glossy green leaves. It is commonly used for hedging.
