Schizachyrium 'Blue Heaven' is an upright and densely-tufted deciduous grass with glaucus light blue foliage that becomes tinted with red tones from late summer becoming orange and copper in autumn and winter. Creamy-purple panicles of flowers emerge in late summer and autumn.
Grow in well-drained soil in full sun and cut back old stems and leaves in late winter before the new growth comes through in spring.
