Composed of chunky bark blended with coconut fibre chips for an excellent balance of air and moisture content, essential for orchids. Repotting will rejuvenate your orchid and encourage vigorous growth and re-flowering.
Ideally orchids need repotting every 12 to 18 months in order to replace the bark. Any peat, soil or small grade bark can kill an orchid by retaining too much water and suffocating the roots. For best results plants should be repotted in the spring after flowering.
Can also be used as a topper on pots or as a mulch around pines, camelias, azaleas or other ericaceous plants for decoration and to aid acidity of the soil.
