The Brighton & Hove Retired Greyhound Trust got a nice surprise when they dropped in to South Downs Nurseries this afternoon! Over Christmas the kennels were running a bit short, and had asked their supporters for a bit of help over the festive period. Upon hearing this, the garden centre staff did a collection and raised some cash and donated some items for the hounds, the combined value totalling just over £100. We gave them the donated items when they came in today, and they spent the collection money on some other nicely-discounted bits from the pet section! Happy houndies all around!
