We have a beautiful selection of Primula available at all 4 of our Sussex-based Garden Centres. Primula are cheerful, easy to grow, hardy perennial plants which come in many colours and shapes. Colours vary from the standard combinations and shades of bright, deep or pale red, yellow, pink, purple, orange and white, to some of the more interesting varieties. Primula are best planted in dappled shade in damp soil – and in the right conditions will flower in spring and again in autumn/winter. The name Primula is derived from the Latin primis, meaning first. Primula and Polyanthus are one of the first and very welcome flowers of spring.
