Our Late Night Extravaganza took place last night, and a spectacular evening was had by all.
We gave out over 3,000 free raffle tickets, offer sheets, free hot drinks and mince pies to our customers as we welcomed you all to this year's late night shopping event, held across all of our Sussex-based garden centres each November. School choirs sang, musicians entertained the crowds, Santa was in his grotto, and we were joined by many of our chosen local makers and suppliers to offer shoppers free tastings all evening.
This year also saw Old Barn Garden Centre's first Late Night Extravaganza since joining the Tates of Sussex family late last year. Santa arrived in style on a 10-ton steam roller to cheering crowds, and opened our newest charity grotto experience, 'Santa's Enchanted Forest', which received tremendous feedback on its opening night. As with our other charity grotto, 'Santa's Toy Factory' at South Downs Nurseries, Hassocks, the Enchanted Forest is also operated by Sussex-based charity The Budding Foundation, and all funds raised will be spent helping young people in our local area.
We'd like to thank everyone who attended the evening and helped to make it magical, as always – we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
