Juliet Sargeant talk raises £800 for local hospice
A fundraising evening held at South Downs Nurseries has raised £800 for a local hospice.
Celebrity gardener, TV presenter and Chelsea gold winner Juliet Sargeant made a guest appearance at the evening, run by Chailey-based St Peter & St James Hospice. Held in The Barn Coffee Shop & Restaurant, Juliet gave her talk, entitled ‘What it takes to win gold at Chelsea’, whilst guests enjoyed a fish & chip supper, freshly cooked and served by restaurant staff.
We're holding our annual Charity Coffee Morning on Friday 12th October from 9am-1pm, with all profits from hot drinks going towards each of our centre’s chosen local hospices. For more information about our coffee morning, click here.
