Local Morris Dancing side Ditchling Morris were accompanied by London-based side Hammersmith Morris Men this weekend, finishing their May Bank Holiday dancing at the South Downs Heritage Centre.
 
Crowds gathered in anticipation, with seats filling half an hour before their arrival. At one point more than 200 people had stopped to watch the two sides, also accompanied by Hammersmith’s famous Jack, as they danced traditional routines from across London and Sussex. They also raised over £70 for Sussex-based charity The Budding Foundation in the space of an hour.
