Local knitter Daphne Wheeler is holding a stall at South Downs Nurseries on the 2nd October, featuring her fun knitted characters. All money raised from the sale of the characters is donated to St Peter & St James Hospice in Chailey – so far she has knitted more than 1000 characters and raised over £4000 for the charity!
