East Sussex Deputy Lieutenant Juliet Smith and Newhaven Mayor Steve Saunders are pictured presenting Mark Gilbert, Sales Director of Tates of Sussex Garden Centres and Sharon Saunders with a life-saving defibrillator.
The unit was purchased from the proceeds of a recent fundraising event organised by the Mayor. ‘We are delighted to receive the first responder item which is a great addition to our first aid facilities’ say’s Mark Gilbert. ‘It is vital that these are available when required by placing them at venues where large numbers gather. Rest assured it will always be ready for use’.
