South Downs Nurseries stepped in to help with a nature pond area at Lindfield Primary Academy over the summer, donating insect houses, bird boxes and other supplies to the project.
We received the below from Alison Lainchbury, from Lindfield Primary:
“What you have given us is simply FANTASTIC, I can’t say thank you enough.
Thank you again for your generosity in proving both raffle prizes for our Summer Fair and bird boxes and insect habitats for our school pond area.
The raffle was a huge success for the PTA and school at the Summer Fair, and only possible with donations like yours so thank you so much.
As promised I attach some pictures below of the pond area which has been developed over the summer. The PTA will be continuing to work alongside the school (with both the staff and children) to add the insect houses, & bird boxes and in adding a ‘watering station’ and information boards etc so it will continue to evolve!”
