Tates of Sussex Charity Walk
The Tates of Sussex Great Charity Walk takes place on Saturday 9th September. Staff from our garden centres will undertake the walk across the beautiful South Downs National Park, calling at all 3 centres, starting at Mayberry and finishing at Paradise Park.
Where are we going?
We will be walking from Mayberry Garden Centre in Portslade to Paradise Park in Newhaven via South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks.
Leg 1 8:00am – 12:00pm
Mayberry Garden Centre to South Downs Nurseries via Devils Dyke, Pyecombe and the Jack & Jill Windmills. Distance : 17km.
Leg 2 12:00pm – 8:00pm
South Downs Nurseries to Paradise Park via Ditchling Beacon, Plumpton Plain, Blackcap and Southease. Distance : 32km.
Legs 1 & 2 combined = 49km!
Who are the Budding Foundation?
The Budding Foundation (Registered No. 1155335) is a local charity based in Sussex raising funds to support young people in need.
What does the Budding Foundation Do?
– Aims to provide young people aged 5 – 21 with financial support to improve their lives.
– Aims to establish/maintain a museum for the benefit of the public, acting as a focal point for the charity and supporting its primary objectives.
– Funds raised in Sussex are distributed in Sussex!
